Meet Amy

I qualified as a Primary School teacher in July 2009 and have spent the past 17 years working across the full primary age range. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive classroom experience, with a significant focus on Year 6, supporting pupils in preparing for their SATs and ensuring they feel confident and well-prepared for the transition to secondary school.

In April 2026, I made the decision to step out of the classroom to dedicate my time to providing personalised tuition and supporting families more directly. This new chapter allows me to use my experience and passion for education to make a meaningful difference on an individual basis. Outside of teaching, I enjoy music, drama, cooking and travel. I live in the Ribble Valley and I am excited to continue supporting children in the local community as they grow in confidence and achieve their potential.
